Between Summer and Me, Kuznia 37 Gallery, Kyiv, Ukraine, Sep 11 – 27, 2026

On a still-warm but already autumnal day, September 11, Kuznia invites you to the opening of a new exhibition — Between the Summer and Me.
The exhibition presents works by Sasha Luneva, an artist from Mykolaiv who explores the world through naive art. in her case, naivety is not about a lack of academic training but about the search for a long-desired new sincerity, with all its depth of feeling and fullness of colour.
Between the Summer and Me is an attempt to turn the water of time into August honey and stretch the last drops of summer just a little longer. it is about the warmth we will carry inside us. about leafing through a photo album after a trip. even about the first chill that makes us cherish the memory of the heat. in a word, it is about summer.
the exhibition takes its title from the poetry of Ivan Malkovych: his poem A Bygone Summer subtly captures the feeling of sudden loss and of a joy drifting away just after it was held in hand.
